Mia Singh, Esq.

Mia M. Singhhas been practicing law since 1999, representing both businesses and individuals in transactional matters and litigation. Her legal career spans civil practice in state and federal courts throughout Florida, where she has secured successful outcomes in numerous trials.

Ms. Singh has served as counsel and of counsel to both state and national law firms, advocating for plaintiffs and defendants across a broad spectrum of areas, including business torts, civil rights, commercial debt, and real estate. As media counsel, Ms. Singh has represented major networks such as Walt Disney Television and ABC Television. Her practice experience is distinguished by a strategic approach to litigation based on a sound understanding of underlying business operations.

Ms. Singh earned her Bachelor of Arts from New York University, College of Arts and Science in 1995 and her Juris Doctor from the University of Miami, School of Law in 1998. Ms. Singh began her legal career at the Broward County Public Defender’s Office before transitioning to civil practice in 2001, where she has represented public and private sector clients in a myriad of industries such as healthcare, technology, hospitality, construction, manufacturing, education, retail, finance, media and insurance.

Ms. Singh’s commitment to the legal profession extends beyond the courtroom. Since 2012, Ms. Singh has served on the Board of Directors of the Weston Bar Association and is currently the President. In this role, she leads initiatives including accredited legal seminars, judicial networking events and election panels, and corporate sponsorships that support legal programs. She also serves as an annual mentor to newly admitted attorneys through the Florida Bar, reflecting her dedication to professional development and the advancement of the legal community.
