Jorge Geraige, Litigation Coordinator

Jorge Antonio Geraige Gonzalez joined the Remer, Georges-Pierre & Hoogerwoerd firm in 2023 as a Litigation Coordinator. Mr. Geraige obtained his Law Degree in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 2000, where he worked for 5 years in a firm specializing in labor law. Mr. Geraige maintains his active status as an attorney enrolled at the C.P.A.C.F. Public Bar Association of Capital Federal, Buenos Aires.

In 2006, Mr. Geraige relocated to Chile, where he served as Director, Partner and Legal Representative for several corporate entities over a period of 15 years. Mr. Geraige also held the position of General Manager of Apart Hotel Reñaca Inn, a four-star hotel in Reñaca, Chile.

In 2014, Mr. Geraige founded J.G. Turismo, a successful real estate and tourist agency that connects multinational investors and travelers.

Background & Interests

Mr. Geraige was born in Valparaiso, Chile, and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He speaks Spanish, English and Italian. Mr. Geraige enjoys participating in community-organized soccer activities, where he plays regularly with his friends and his two young sons. They share the passion of supporting the Argentinian national soccer team, as well as the popular River Plate club.

Education

Mr. Geraige earned his Juris Doctor in 2000 from the Universidad de Belgrano, Buenos Aires, Argentina, Facultad de Derecho y Ciencias Sociales. He earned his Master of Laws in International Law in 2023, with specialization in U.S. and Transnational Law for Foreign Lawyers, from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida.
