Patrick Brooks LaRou practices labor and employment law, drawing experience from working in a wide variety of legal areas including first and third-party property, intellectual property, antitrust, and disability law. Prior to admission to the Florida Bar in 2022, Mr. LaRou attended St. Thomas University College of Law, receiving a certificate in Intercultural Human Rights and graduating cum laude. During his time at St. Thomas, Mr. LaRou served as a staff editor and symposium panelist for the school’s Intercultural Human Rights Law Review, interned as a legislative assistant to the Chairman of Miami-Dade’s Board of County Commissioners, and worked in private government affairs consulting. Before law school, Mr. LaRou attended Virginia Commonwealth University in his hometown of Richmond, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Sociology, and worked as a research assistant in a neuroscience lab.
